Teachers
We are so grateful for the hard work of educators like yourself who are inspiring the next generation! At Children’s Medical Research Institute - Jeans for Genes, we want to foster a love of science, so that some of those kids in your classroom go on to be the next Nobel Prize winner or discover a cure for a disease we haven’t even heard of yet.
We also want to help make your job a little easier, so we’ve built this website to provide some interactive STEM learning tools for primary students.
Our area of expertise is biomedical science, so we’ve started with concepts like cells and DNA, but also plan to expand on some other important topics like how our brains work and what causes infectious disease. We also have expertise in data science and eventually aim to include some mathematics that is relevant to biology.
This site is a work in progress, and we want to make it the best it can be. Please send any thoughts on what you’d like to see or other feedback to Dr Lorel Colgin at lcolgin@cmri.org.au
We look forward to hearing from you!
